Apprentice internal auditor

Apprentice internal auditor will be studying for the “Internal Audit Practitioner level 4” certificate as well as learning on the job. You will be given specific times to study and the course itself should last 24 months, resulting in you having a permanent role with us, as an internal auditor. You will be working Monday to Friday 9.00am until 5.30pm and have an eye for detail and an attitude to investigate issues and ask questions.

You will be a team player who has the ability to communicate with all departments/colleagues, as well as having good written and computer skills. You will require 5 GCSE’s at grade C/4 or above. Ideally you will be 18+, due to the manufacturing nature of our business.

Production Hygiene Operative

If you have deep cleaning experience, with the ability to dismantle/reassemble machinery, then this role could be for you. We are looking for someone to join our production hygiene team, working Monday to Thursday 11.30pm to 8.00am.

Working in a team of 2, you will systemically work through different areas of the factory stripping and deep cleaning the machinery and the actual area as well, including walls, frameworks and floor. It is essential that you have a keen eye for detail, able to work in a small team, physically fit as this is a manual role with some lifting involved. Knowledge of COSHH is an advantage. Some initial training may occur on the day shift. CV and covering letter is required.

Night Shift Manager

Working 5.30pm to 4.00am Monday to Thursday. The successful candidate will take control and responsibility for the full shift. 

Strong management experience essential, reporting on KPI’s and driving a shift forward with culture, quality and efficiencies.

Senior NPD Technologist

The successful candidate will have experience of taking product from concept to process.  The role would ideally suit someone who has worked in a smaller bakery who is looking to step up, or someone who is already in this type of position who wants to work for a friendly/ family feel business.  This role will also involve managing the small NPD team/kitchen.

Training Officer 

Reporting into the Continuous Improvement  this is a standalone position where you will be the site Trainer responsible for the day-to-day co-ordination and delivery of site-wide training activities, mainly ensuring that all new and existing employees are fully trained against all SOP’s, SSOW and risk assessments. 

You will update all training records accordingly and then verify that training has been effective.
